Jessica Aber was born in Walnut Creek, California. Jessica Aber completed her higher education in Virginia. In 2003 she achieve her Bachelor of Arts degree from the Richmond University.
She started her legal career as a law clerk for Magistrate Judge in the Eastern District of Virginia . Then she worked as an associate at McGuireWoods from 2007 to 2008 before joining her main service.
